I can die happy now. I have finally 'finished' the Tachikoma model. That simple really.

It feels like almost all Deviants are just after Pageviews. Do everyone a favour. Only give them that pleasure if they've Commented on your work!

Nice!

Enter the great debate! Poser, art or plagiarism?
:icondynamicvelocity:
Now all you have to do is make some of the uber cool attachments (no not pods) - the rail gun with 6 barrels, or things like that...

:icondynamicvelocity:
and, not limited to, but wouldn't a semi transparent 'back door' for the pod be cool! (yes, it would mean modeling controls inside the pod)

You have a lot to show before you die. Great work my friend.

nice! might look better with shadows.. just a thought!
:icondynamicvelocity:
yes, shadows, that's the way to go... here's a rendering challenge - get a shadow without loosing the 'white' background - Hint: Raytrace the surface it's 'on' with falloff, and use a 100% white, environment map - the fall off blends into the enviro once it's reached it's max -reflectivity distance.

at least, that's all with 3dsmax standard renderer.

Heh, someone noticed I see.
I have been straining my brain non-stop trying to work out how to get rid of the black horizon, and also give the tachikoma a shadow.
If I get it, I'll replace this render with it.
